  Below is my creative critical reflection

After about a month of filming, re-filming, and editing, the music video is finally complete. We am relieved and grateful that this commercial project is finished. We enjoyed the whole process of making the video, although some parts such as filming were a little more difficult. Collectivity we would say the best part of the whole project was the initial planning, storyboarding, and filming. Here everyone was able to let out their creative ideas and we all understood and knew what to do. On the other hand, the editing process didn't come as easy. Unfortunately, only one of our members knew how to edit and put the music video together. The two of us remaining had to sit, observe, and learn from what our group mate was doing. We had room for improvement but ended up giving our reviews and final creative ideas when he finished. Overall, we enjoyed this project and look forward to the next Media Studies assignments. 

 In the morning today, I went to watch our commercial to make sure it was perfect once again. When I finished it, something had seemed off. I decided to watch it one more time and I saw what was off. None of the scenes were sped up! It caused the music and video to not be in sync. I wasn’t sure what went wrong. I tried to remember what happened between yesterday and today. My mind went blank. Yesterday it was fine and today it wasn’t the same. I watched the video again, then again. Only to find no answer. I realized that the video messed up when I went to save it to my phone. I messaged my friends to resend the video and I will try to re-save it. When they finally sent it, the video was perfect. It wasn’t until I saved it to my phone that the scenes wouldn’t speed up. I emailed it to my computer, where it still did not play. I tried to think of another way, but still, my mind was blank. I thought of having my friends email it to me but then I came to the final conclusion. It was not un

Our group finally finished up our filming and production. We are now ready to start the editing process. We have improved at taking footage. We didn’t have to reshoot or retake any shots in our music video. We were all proud of this accomplishment. Both the formatting and actual shot complimented each other. It also fit perfectly in the video and music. Although some scenes had to be sped up slightly. Two scenes needed these adjustments so it was not a major challenge. Only one of my partners has iMovie so he was nominated to pull all the scenes together with the correct tempo. He was happy with the content. With no more creative ideas during the editing, he shared the final version with me and our other partner. We both were happy with the results. My partner watch it only once and decided it was fine. While I watched it several times to make sure there were no mistakes, gaps, or musical errors. To my surprise, there were none to be found. I told both of them the music video was fine.

My group finished the reminding of 6 slides in our storyboard today. We had planned originally to film at one of our groupmates ' houses because of the darker lighting and space layout. For personal reasons, we weren't able to film there and found a suitable filming location where I live. We made many adjustments to our storyboard to help better detail our story and allow it to be more understandable. Our first three slides take place in the bathroom. We had our main character lip-sync, we added a montage, and changed the scenario to fit the mood of the character. These scenes were quick and easy to film as we all agreed on the creative ideas that we were added to the video. Things became less smooth when we started to film in my bedroom for the final three scenes. Our transition scene was a new idea because we agreed on the one we originally had made the music video look choppy and didn't flow.
